I, _______________________________, the Buyer, am entering into a contract with Rose Valley Kennel, the Seller, swearing to uphold all the conditions provided and mentioned in this contract below and agree to have the above stated puppy spayed/neutered before six (6) months of age.
Permanent ownership of this puppy is contingent upon your compliance with this Contract. The above-described puppy is sold as a pet and family companion and will not be used for any breeding purposes whatsoever, whether intentional or accidental. Buyer agrees the above-described puppy will be spayed/neutered within six (6) months of age. Purchase and proof of spay/neuter by a licensed veterinarian to be provided to the Seller before seven (7) months of age. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer, not the veterinarian, to insure Seller receives proper documentation of the surgery performed. Documentation must include proof of spay/neuter or invoice bill with the veterinarian’s state license number and signature for verification.

By the Buyer signing below, Buyer agrees to have this puppy altered by no later than six (6) months or twenty-four (24) weeks of age and understands that this Spay/Neuter Contract is an agreement that this puppy will not be used to produce a litter of puppies either as an act of purposeful breeding or by accidental breeding. Accidental breeding is considered neglect and the puppy will be returned to the Seller within five (5) business days at the Buyer’s expense and all puppies born from any breeding, accidental, intentional, or otherwise, will become the property of Rose Valley Kennel and will be surrendered back to the Seller at the Seller’s discretion and at the Buyer’s expense without financial restitution or compensation of any kind. This Spay/Neuter Contract supersedes any and all agreements or contracts made between Buyer and any third parties for stud services, artificial insemination, or any act of breeding whatsoever.

Furthermore, in the event that the puppy is not spayed/neutered within the above stated time period OR if the Seller does not receive confirmation of the puppy’s spay/neuter by the above listed time period, Seller will charge the Buyer a penalty in the amount of an additional $300.00 over the Purchase Price as listed above to be paid within five (5) business days of Seller’s request. This charge and consequent payment does not grant Buyer any Full Rights, Registration, or Breeding Rights.
This Contract is made and signed by both parties to insure the well-being and protection of the puppy strictly as a canine companion. If the Buyer breaches any part of this Contract, the Seller is released from any obligations under this Contract or from any other Contract/Agreement between Buyer and Seller. This Contract is non-transferable and is governed by the laws of the state of Missouri. Buyer understands that if any part of this Contract is breached or unfulfilled Seller has the right to prosecute Buyer to the fullest extent of the law. By signing below both Buyer and Seller agrees in full consent to all of the stated terms and conditions of this Contract without protest or objection.
