Hi Lola, 

Pinkie continues to thrive.   We are jogging a little and she loves it!  She really dances around when she sees the halter come out of the basket!  Yesterday, she and the doxie decided to have a slumber party.  They pulled the two throws off the back of the sofa and were lounging on them when I came home!  She was very pleased with herself.   

She is very funny in that she really does like to sit on your lap.  She is pretty big but boy does she love the attention!  We are really in love with her and she seems to know us better every day.  She sits on command and will shake too.  She offers up the shake as part of the sit, so she is thinking ahead.  We are working on sit and “wait” which is useful when trying to open the gate and then close it behind us. 

She loves our yard.  We worked in the yard in the afternoon and she was right there helping.  Every time I set my garden gloves down, she picked them up and moved them.  She is very funny in that she doesn’t chew on anything, but she carried my sandals around too.  When she got tired of helping, she went to sleep in the grass in a shady spot.  We have had a heat spell – high 80’s to low 90’s and she thinks it is HOT!  It has cooled down though and she likes that better.

Thank you so much.  She will have a good life with us.  She is in the office with me this morning and we will take the afternoon off to enjoy this beautiful day!
