Dear Lola, As you can see, I've grown up quite a bit in 2 1/2 months. Love my new home! I "point" out white tailed deer, sometimes chase cats or chickens and have fun playing with my two dog buddies. Ann comes over and we go for runs together and when Jim comes home from Medical school he throws frisbees and balls for me to retrieve. I'm really good at that and have learned to bring it right to him.
Love, Lucy Langworthy

P.S. I never hurt the cats or the chickens, it's just fun to see them move really fast!

Thought you could use a message from a dogs point of view. She's turning into a really nice companion.

Hi Lola,

I was recently looking at your website at your new litters and saw you have success stories with pictures. I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of our Bailey. We bought our puppy when you were listing them with colors. We chose "orange", who is now Bailey. She has been a wonderful addition to our family! We had record snowfall last winter and Bailey loves to play in the snow so I included a picture of her covered in snow and also one where she's all tuckered out. She is six years old now and continues to bless us each and every day! Thank you for breeding such wonderful puppies!

Sincerely,
Charlene Siddell

Thank you for our wonderful addition to our family. We named him Messi and we all love him. He is more then we all imagined. Full of energy and a real sporty dog. He leant how to play fetch in an afternoon, he runs so fast and is very intelligent. He is so big and still wants to be a lap dog. We love him. The only thing we are worried about he loves cars.

Hi Lola,

Today the first snowflakes of the season fell upon Denver... and the pup was eager to get in on the action! Attached pic of when she was done playing and wanted to come back inside!
Hope all is well! Thanks!

Good morning, Lola!

Just wanted to let you know that Zami, now Skila, has arrived! She is the sweetest pup. Thank you so much for your help in coordinating her arrival. She is a GREAT pup. Gentle temperament and very obedient! We are so happy with her.

New Flash: Update on one of Rose Valley Puppies.....

Hi Lola:
It has been awhile since we kept in touch but I am proud to announce that Rokee (Ritchie's Cherokee Red, litter of Mollie & Russell 4/10/05) has earned his MACH Title in agility, February 2011.  The Master Agility Champion Title has only been earned by 13 other Irish Setters.  There is a featured article in the AKC Irish Setter Magazine in the April issue. As the breeder of my big boy, I know you will be extremely proud.  I know that he is the "Heart Dog" of my life.  Thank you again for this wonderful gift.
Sincerely,
Robin

Hello Lola, Just a quick note to say "Thank You".  Paul arrived Friday afternoon as planned.  He has already stolen our hearts and is a delightful addition to our family.  The other pets are adapting to the new addition very well. Thanks again,
George & Terry Barton
Attached is a picture of "Paul" taken at 5 1/2 mo old. He is doing great.

Last Saturday, the weather in Philadelphia was 76 degres and sunny, and we were all outside digging out weeds and applying mulch.  Finn (born April 2010) joined us and was a great gardening partner.  My husband was about to start mulching the last tree, and Finn came over and sat down next to the bag of mulch, in a spot of shade.  Frank, exhausted at this point in the afternoon, sat down next to him.  I glanced over and saw their heads leaning together, as if they were resting and discussing the next plan for the yard.  Couldn't resist the picture, so I snapped away.
Finn has brought much joy to our family.  He is the happiest creature I've ever encountered.  He bounces through life, excited by every bird, in body or shadow.  He could easily jump our backyard fence, but never has,  nor has he attempted to dig out.  He only barks when he's lonely or feeling protective, and gives the best ear kisses.  He loves to go for long walks which has led to me shedding five unwanted pounds over the last few months.  When complimented on my new weight, I say "I'm Finn Thin."  We can't remember life without him.

Noodles and Dutch are two years apart and have been the best Irish Setters I have ever had.  Dutch at times can be a comedian in a red coat on paws, but other than that they are a great pair.  I've been around Irish Setters all my life and these guys are really laid back were easy to house train and make great pets. Lola, you've done such good job with the breeding of these guys.  I've done some obedience training with them and they have retained what they have learned.  I can't imagine being without them.  Bonnie Rausch

Lola,

It's been over a week and Gus (Clark) has entered our life. He is in love with
all of our grandchilren and everyone loves him. We just can't imagine our life
without him. He is such a joy. We want to thank you for letting us adopt him.

He sleeps at night with Duane and he really likes to snuggle. I just wanted to
keep you up to date on him and how well he is doing.

Bette

Lola,

Just a up date on Lady, she has become a wonderful part of out family, my grandson Aiden really loves her and she loves the pool. She is very gentle with the Yorkie's, I wish I could say the same about them. A more loving girl I could have never wished for, again thank you for bring her into our lives.

HI Lola:
Page now Mcgee is settling into our family so easily. She is so sweet and has charmed us all. Here is a photo of her taken on the second day with us. Thank you for getting her to us so safe and sound.
Love,  Tarantinos

Hi Lola!

I can't believe we haven't sent you an update since we brought Savannah (once Laura) home almost 3 months ago! She has settled into forrest life and we've settled into life with a puppy (our first). She's finished puppy training and is doing well. She's tall enough now that she can get up on just about anything. She knows no strangers and is the supreme destroyer of all toys (has gone through about 15 in 3 months). She has a chair all to herself and even though she's 30+ pounds now, she still wants to be held like a baby in your lap. She's our spoiled-rotten little princess. We can't remember life without her and can't thank you enough for letting us be her 'mommy and daddy.'
These are pictures of Savannah's first snow.

Calvin finally  met his half brother, Darby.  They both look so much like their dad, Pierre.  Of all the places in the world to end up, they end up 15 minutes from each other and have the same trainer.  They had a good time.  When they looked at each other I am sure Calvin thought he was looking into a mirror and wondering why he had gotten smaller, they look that much alike. Calvin was the perfect older brother.  He let Darby climb all over him and jump on him and chase him around.  I think Darby has a serious case of hero worship.  I hope they get to be the best of friends forever. Can you believe how much Calvin has grown?  Isn't he the most handsomest Irish Setter you have ever seen?  Mary

Lola,

I just wanted to send you a quick update.  Ace, who we call Bones, is doing very well.  He just lost his two front teeth.  He loved the leaves in the fall, and still enjoys jumping in the ones in our woods.  He is a people lover without a doubt.  My husband came home on the 19th of November and they have become fast friends.  He is house broken and has a pretty good understanding of sit, down, come, and off.  He is working on stay and leave it.  He is a great friend and we love our hikes and walks.  We just started learning some indoor games like hide-n-seek, since we had a few extremely cold days.  We also made our first big trip just after Thanksgiving, down to SC.  He does great in the car and loved the new places and of course new people.  He gets so excited whenever there is someone to met.  He has made so many doggy friends as well, but kids seem to be his favorite.  He spent a good chunk of time at the Dog Park one day, playing with a little boy.  He is truly a blessing to us.  I hope your holiday is filled with peace and love.  Wishing you the best. Jesse Brown

Hi Lola,
We had a good trip home with Lucy (now called Maggie).  She and KC9 which we got from you last year) are getting along really well.

Hi Lola:

Just wanted to tell you how much enjoyment we have had with Carly (Patsy) since we picked her up from you.  She is very much part of the family, and everyone loves her, and she LOVES everyone else. Hope all is well with you and your family!   Kim Badgero

Hi Lola - just a note to let you know how "Murphy" (Gabe) is doing... he turned 11 months old on Monday and is still growing like a weed! Measured him @ 27 1/2" at his withers! He is beautiful, incredibly smart and FULL of energy! He looks very much like his sire, Pierre. The 'smart' does get him into trouble but keeps me on my toes. We are looking into field trials as he seems to have that hunting instinct. Will try and get a picture of him to you for your gallery. Just thought I would let you know how he is doing. We enjoy him. Thanks.  Leslie and Jay

Lola, this was Finn's first outing and he took right to it .  We rode up and down the street a few times; he definitely need to burn some energy, and it did the trick.  He is doing great, easy to train.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We received Gloria yesterday at 4:05 pm, 2/19/10.  She is soooo beautiful and sweet.  She does have alot of energy and a little clumsy with those big feet.  She already has a favorite toy; it's an orange squeaky fish.  When you throw it, she goes and gets it and brings it back for you to throw it again.  She likes to be rocked to sleep too!  Gloria has even got my 16 year old daughter wrapped around her finger.  Brehanna took her out today to walk her on the leash, but Gloria sat and Brehanna ended up carrying her around the alley.
Here are a few pictures of her arriving at our house last night.  I will send you more as time goes by and she grows and grows and grows.

Thanks and God Bless You!
Lisa

Hi Mrs Lola, just a short note to let you know that Carol's (I have named her Penny) checkup went great. Out of Copper's litter born 11/10.  She is the best puppy I have ever owned and has not cried for 30 minutes since I picked her up. She absolutly loves it here and is having fun playing with my 3 year old I purchased from you named Lilly Belle.  Thanks again - Mark

Hi Lola,
we had a very good day in spite of the wind chill.  She is so good outside; she goes right away and every time.  She also sits to be petted. You have her started so well.  We appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Lola,

I call this my "no mom ,we didn't do it" photo. I've never seen two more guilty faces!
Tullie(Aggie) has doubled her weight since her arrival and is doing just fine. I do have to shake down visitors to make sure she not being pirated away. she is such a beauty.
Wishing you love and puppy kisses,
Barbara

( new owner )   We picked up Fergus at the airport Friday and boy was he a happy dog! He knows his kennel, has learned to "kennel up", cheerfully does his business outside, loves everyone that loves him and is rarin' to go. He charges around the kitchen and is lots of fun. Thank you so much, Lola, for helping us make a terrific choice. He is just the ball of joy our family needed after loosing Max, our ten year old Irish Setter, two weeks ago. We never thought we'd smile at a dog again, and here we are laughing our heads off at our great little  Irish puppy! Thank you so very much!  The Fromularo Family

Lola, here are some photos of Mollie. I included McGee and my husband in a couple so you can see her relative size. Mollie is about 65 pounds. McGee, by contrast, is 95 pounds. They are a good combination as they are inseparable. They play together very well (still) but when Mollie wants to tell McGee where to get off, she does! And he listens!

I took these pictures on Christmas Day (the last two) and the others today. Happy New Year to you and Randall and all of your dogs! Bonnie

Lola,
We thought you might be interested to see how much Ruby (was Lucy  from Lady and Big Red) has grown...she's already 35lbs! She's all legs and uses them for her advantage.  She is an absolute doll and we love her to pieces! She is the most loving dog I've ever seen and would just cuddle up next to you and give you kisses for hours! She loves to snuggle in bed and she's so attentive and even watches tv with us. (Finally I have someone to watch chick-flicks with :) ) She draws lots of attention everywhere we go and everyone loves her! She is spoiled rotten and loves every moment of it! :)
Thanks again for the perfect addition
Megan

Please check out one of Rose valley's Irish setters,

Louie is in the media.

Louie was on the front page of the newspaper (News Herald) on 10/31/2009 .  As you know Louie is a theory dog, so we decided to spend a few hours at Perry Public Library (one of Louie’s favorite spots) last Friday.  We passed out candy to the little kidos who came to story time and the trick or treat trail.  Check out the story, picture and video!

Hi Lola,

How are you?  It's been a while since I have written and given you an update!  Louie (01.01.05 Navy from Pink and O'Reilly) is doing great.  We had a show last weekend and received 2 Blue Ribbons!  1 in Novice B Obedience (6th Leg) scoring 191.5 and 1 in Rally Excellent B scoring 83.

Well I still could never thank you enough for my little buddy!  I don’t know what I’d do with out him.

Thanks,

Victoria

Here are some of our Success stories! We love hearing from our customers and receiving updates about our puppies!

Lola,

I wanted to give you an update on Rylee (Big Red & Gabby June 2009). She is 13 weeks old now and such a sweet girl. Her favorite thing to do is visit my parent's almost 3 year old Irish Setter, Ruby (Dusty & Stormy October 2006) each day. They are best friends and get along so well. When I go to pick Rylee up from my parent's house after work each day she never wants to leave. I've attached a few pictures to show you how they are doing. Thank you so much for such a sweet, smart, and beautiful dog!

Hello Lola,

We purchased your last puppy- Today is our daughters birthday and I just wanted to tell you thank you! They absolutely love each other! She slept all the way to our home from yours & we got her out to use the potty & to get a little exercise. We all love her so much already & she is a blessing to our family. Brinkley decided to name her “Darby”, after Darby on Winnie the Pooh. It was Christopher Robin when I was a kid, but I guess I’m not a kid anymore. I just wanted to let you know that we had our vet out to work cows & he gave her shots & played with her while he was on the farm. I just can’t thank you enough & hearing my daughter laugh & see her smile gives both of us the greatest joy! So, Happy Birthday to my little sweetie & a huge “Thank You” to you for raising a sweet little pup- I think “Darby” is quite fond of her person as well. Thanks again, Dax, Christina, Brinkley & Darby Moreton

Just wanted to update you on my dog, Mercedes, that I got from you about two years ago. Mercedes is doing wonderful. She has become a such an important part of our family. She tries to make friends with everyone. I was shocked when a baby deer ran right past her on one of our walks in the woods nearby our cabin just a week ago. She only walked up to it and curiously observed it before wagging her tail and trotting back to me.

Mercedes loves to run around in our yard with our other two dogs, but as soon as she gets inside she's as calm as can be. She loves to cuddle and can often be found on someone's lap (although she's 65 lbs.) or snuggled next to me on my bed in the morning. My family always comments on how well-behaved she is. Everyone who comes over loves her; she's such an easy dog to be around and care for. When I take her downtown, people often come up to me and tell me how beautiful and well behaved she is.

Thank you so much for providing me with such a excellent dog and loving companion. We all love her very much.

Stephanie

Hi Lola,

Today is gage's 1 year birthday. He is doing great and what a terrific family dog! Funny thing (as you know how Irish Setter can be) is he is actually well mannered for his age, this was natural there was not much for us to do, but show him affection.

We would talk to him, read a book when he was on the couch eating a bone and show him allot of love, and walla perfect.

Gage is such a friendly people person I mean very friendly, he really loves hugs, but loves giving hugs even more. He is such a people person and kids, boy o' boy does he love kids. My 8 year old just love sleeping with gage at night, and Nikki's friends just love rolling around in the grass with him.

When we sit down and watch TV at night we have a 50 lbs lap loving dog! We could not of asked for a more PERFECT IRISH SETTER! If more people only knew how loving this dogs are!!

As you know I grew up with Irish Setter's. They are the best dog and beautiful features in their class!

Again Thank you Lola for giving us such a perfect, perfect Irish Setter. Also please give his Mommy and Daddy a big hug from Gage and the Broucek family!!!

Thank you again!!!!

******************************************************************************************************************

Dear Lola,
I am not sure where to begin.  Colby was such an unbelievable joy that we couldn't resist getting another Irish Setter. He was only around 9 months old when we purchased, his biological sister, Sadie, at 2 months old (same father-Dusty). They are positively the best of friends.  They sleep next to each other, only play outside when the other one is there, love to go in the car and they are getting used to boat rides. Although they are close to each other, they are the most loving, affectionate and devoted dogs to us; maybe because they are constantly receiving attention from us. Equally important, they are so easy to train. They learn from each other.

The only fault...we can't take a walk, with the both of them, without everyone stopping us to compliment the both of them.  They are such a rarity around here but the best advertisement for Irish Setters!
All the best, Lola and eternal thanks for these magnificent dogs.
Daria

Hey Lola.

We love our new Irish Setter puppy. We purchased Stewart on October 4th (his new name is McSean).

We've had him to Perfect Puppy school and he is sooooo intelligent! He picked up on everything very quickly and he was the honor student of the class. We've signed him up for the next level of off leash classes. He was easy to potty train, he now rings a bell at the back door to be let out.

Thanks for your help with this. John Thomas
******************************************************************************************************************Hey
Lola,

I just wanted to take the opportunity to Thank You for our Tehseh (out of Gabby/Bid Red-Nov. 2007).  She is becoming the perfect pet. She is sooooo beautiful!!!  She was very easy to housebreak, is super smart and a giant 'lab dog'.  I think someone forgot to tell her he was too big to sit on peoples laps:-)  Anyway I've attached a recent picture.  I have really seen the difference a reputable breeder can make in a dog.  As you know, I took quite a bit of time researching and talking with you to get the 'perfect puppy'; one that had all the qualities we were looking for.  The Gabby/Bid Red combo did just that.  She's a bit silly, but we love that; gives her a unique personality.  We don't hunt, but my neighbors do, and when I ask them why she's doing some 'goofy' things in the backyard, they inform me that is because she is doing them instinctively.  Guess the hunting gene really IS born in them.  He says that she would make a GREAT hunter, based solely on her instincts.  I can't say enough good things about our experience with you!!!!!!!  It was well worth the trip to get her.  Thanks for talking with me all those months and being patient while I waited for the right one.  I would recommend you to anyone looking for a quality Irish Setter!

Thanks again for giving us our Tehseh!!!!!  We LOVE her to pieces.  ~ The Lynchs

******************************************************************************************************************

We picked up the “Navy” Irish setter puppy and his sister on 12/17/05 in the snow. His name is Eli and he is a wonderful dog. He likes to play fetch to the point of obsession, and he likes to run with me when I ride my mountain bike in the woods. I thought that you would like to see some more recent pictures of Eli in the snow. Thank you again, Basil Hicks

Hi Lola, We are really enjoying Luke. Here are some photographs from the local Christmas Tree Farm with Jack, Luke and Grandson Will. Luke is now 54lbs and he is doing really well and has become a member of our family. He and Jack get along really well , even though Luke thinks he is the boss! Thanks for sending us such a nice puppy. Johnny and Pat

Lola, Red (Vaughns King Lawrence) is one of Dusty and Zazoo's litter of April 10. We came to visit you June 18 and brought Red home. Since then, he has grown from about 18 pounds to his current 61 pounds. In height, he has gone from about 15 inches at the shoulder to his current 26 inches at the shoulder. He is a people person, friendly with everyone. Especially, he is a Daddy's dog. He will still lay in my lap on his back with his right front paw behind my neck and let me hold him like a baby, rubbing his stomach while he lays there. If I am in the recliner, he will even go to sleep in the recliner with me. Also, as a result of the socialization he received at obedience school, he is very friendly with other dogs. Red has also become a recent graduate of obedience school, learning to heel, turn, sit, stay, and come. We have now begun advanced obedience school. We could not have asked for a better member of the family. He is always happy and he always knows how to make the day better with his playfulness and his happiness to be wtih us.

Hello Lola,

It has been nearly six months since we came and picked up Red and Black, now Owen and Magee. We just love them! They are so big now and are doing well. Their crazy antics keep us laughing all the time.  They experienced their first Nebraska snow today and it was so funny watching them romp around. They have become very popular in our neighborhood, we have people comment every time we walk them at how beautiful they are. We are rather proud of our Boys! We have had a busy six months with them, finding new parks to run, canoeing, visiting puppy cousins, and their favorite, going to my parent's farm. They have no fences, plenty of critters to chase, and best of all a pond!  Thank you so much for these special dogs!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Lola:

I love coming to your website to see your new puppies.  I just wanted to give you an update on Rokee (Lt. Blue) of Mollie and Russell, 4/10/05.  He is now three and is a happy, happy, boy.  Although we don't live in the country, Rokee gets plenty of walking exercise.  We have been traveling to Utah, Arizona and California, as well as here in Las Vegas to agility trials and he is well on his way to earning his masters titles.  He is awesome, and I get many compliments on how intelligent he is on the agility course.  We are listed in the AKC Irish Setter Magazine for the last two issues showing the titles we have earned, under the name Ritchie's Cherokee Red.   We recently went to the AKC Irish Setter Nationals in Phoenix and participated in the agility trial there.  We were able to walk away with a ribbon and we had so much fun.  I have started him in fielding, and he is very birdie.  I know if we had the availablity of fielding, he would be terrific.  I attached a few pics.  Thanks again for my boy.  Robin

Hi!
Just wanted to say that I saw one of your former irish setters with its owner in charleston, SC.  This dog was beautiful!  She said that you breed the smaller ones.  This dog was calm and a real beauty!  It's the first irish setter I've seen in S.C. in 40 years!  I would love to buy one, but presently don't have the space!  I just felt compelled to email you!  It just made my day to see such a lovely dog!  Have a blessed day!

Hi Lola,
We thought we would send you pictures of our girl "Ruby". She is Laura from Big Red and Lady's litter, born 06/08. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family! We live on the waterway and often take her to the beach. She loves it! Thank you so much for such a wonderful dog! Ruby is very playful and loves to be in our company! She still has to grow into her legs, but is so beauiful and tall! Thanks again and we hope you enjoy the pictures of Ruby!

Lola,

Things are going well with Red in Bowling Green, KY. He was 22 weeks old yesterday and is at 42.8 pounds. He is 23 inches at the shoulder and we have had 3 weeks of obedience school so far. Having listened to you on how to handle him, he continues to like to lay in our laps on his back and have his tummy scratched. We love Red and I am so happy he is part of our family.

Lola,

Lidia, of Lady and Big Red’s June/08 litter is doing well. Her new name is Kinealy of St. James Gate FitzGerald…but we call her Nealy for short. She is a very quick learner. Her color keeps getting a deeper red as she grows…we love it. She is looking forward to her first St. Patrick’s Day Hibernian Dogtown parade in St. Louis come this March. Keep doing the good work in Excelsior Springs!

Best regards, Jill and Jerry

Hi Lola,
We picked "Brown" from Gabby and Big Red's litter November 2007.  We picked him up in January and he loved playing in the snow back here in South Dakota.  We named him KC and he has grown so much.  He completed his K-9 Kindergarten class and received his certificate and we are now enrolled in a Manner's class.  He gets along really well with our 11 1/2 year old lab and is a lot of fun to have a round.  What a personality!  He gets so many compliments when we go for our walks on how he looks and how well behaved he is.  I am enclosing a couple of pictures.

Dear Lola,  I wanted to let you know that Peanut arrived safely and has settled in wonderfully.  He's as sweet  and loving as you said and then some.  You did an amazing job with making him so comfortable with people he just fits right in wags his tail and acts like he knows us.  He is so adorable and beautiful and I loved him instantly.  I'll never be able to thank you enough for all your help and guidance on the telephone discussing the dogs and their litters and helping me decide which personality fit ours-although I'm sure I'd adore anyone of them.  He is just perfect.  THANK YOU!!
Will be in touch, Jill Dunbar

Lenny is now Guinness, although Lenny still seems to fit with his funny personality.  Many, many thanks to you for taking the time to teach those puppies to sit before getting petted.  It’s made a world of difference!!!  We just love him.  We’ve taken him on several walks around the Brookside area and everyone stops us and asks if he’s an Irish Setter and comments that he’s absolutely beautiful (which he is!) and that it’s been a while since they’ve seen one.  He’s great with the boys (ages 5 and 7, picture attached) and with KC, our mini daschund.  They love to play!  David and I have to laugh…when we scold Guinness and tell him “no”, he talks back with a high pitched talky yowl, just like he’s saying “don’t tell me what to do”!  It’s the strangest thing!!!

Beth

P.S.  David probably wouldn’t want me sharing this but it’s sweet and I thought it would make you smile.  The first night we had him (and after David reinforced the fact that we were NOT going to “baby” him), we got him a HUGE pillow/bed.  The moment his little head hit the pillow, he was OUT…until it came time for US to go to bed at which point, he made it known that he did not like sleeping all alone in the kitchen on his big bed.  So, David slept with him!  The second night, he was happy and content (and well-behaved!) when we told him that he could sleep in our room but he had to stay on that big bed of his.  He did!  Without a single accident!  David and Guinness went out on the back porch the next evening and were gone, and gone, and gone so finally I looked out the back window and there he was sitting on the back steps with Guinness, pipe in left hand and right arm around Guinness’ shoulders, with Guinness’ left paw on David’s leg.  It was a picture in my mind that I will love forever.  They were just sitting there having a “heart-to-heart” talk.  He’s definitely already a member of our family!

Hi Lola,

We are Bill and Denise Kishlock.  We purchased an Irish Setter from you last July and just thought you might like an update.
"Duffy" is absolutely wonderful.  He is spoiled rotten by the whole family (children, grand-children, neighbors, and the vets office).  Irish Setters are rare around these parts.  He is around 65 lbs now and he sleeps with us, so he is now taking up MOST of the bed.  Duffy likes to play in the snow, ride in the car, and especially likes Mia, the Golden Retriever next door.  The lady who grooms him says he is the best behaved dog she has ever worked with!
Thank you, Lola, for sending us the perfect match for this family.
Duffy is the most caring, loving companion, and I can't imagine our lives without him.  He is the perfect addition to our family.
Hope you enjoy the picture.

Lola,

Cleo is doing great!  She loves the mountains.  She is so smart.  Learned to sit in one day, I coudn't believe it!  She is already house broke...two weeks and that was it!  Thank you so much for such a healthy, wonderful animal. She has a wonderful temperment and is in love with every child she meets.  We love her so much!

Hello Lola,

I hope you all are doing well. We wanted to send you some photos of Jameson.
He was from Isaac and Abby's litter on 7-11-07. We think he is really
starting to look like Isaac. Let us know what you think. I attached a few so
you could see how he's been doing.

He's very smart and loves to cuddle with us. He goes to a puppy day care 3
days a week and has lots of friends and loves playing around with them. They
even have outdoor play equipment and a pool. It's really fun for him. He
also loves to go to the park and on long walks and explore new areas.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how he was doing. I pass your name on
to lots of people. Irish Setters are not very common in our area and
everyone comments on how gorgeous he is.

Thanks again for helping us find the best puppy for our family!!

Jillian has grown quite a bit since we have gotten her, she is still very long legged. We love her so very much and she is a joy. She loves being my shadow and chewing on her chewey bones. We are nearly always together. She is a sweet and loving dog and has a heart of gold. Feel free to post my pictures of her and my comments. I love her so much! Thank you for my special friend

Hello!

It's been 1 year now since we've purchased an irish setter puppy from your
kennel, and I wanted to write and thank you for this wonderful dog. We've
named her Scarlet, and she has grown into a beautiful, energetic, family pet.
She is wonderful with the kids, always ready to play, and has become a second
mother of sorts to the kids. She has been very healthy, loves swimming in our
lake, and is a beautiful dog.

Thank you once again, and I hope all is well for the both of you and all of
your gorgeous dogs!

Hi Lola,

Maggie is doing just fine. We took her over to my parents' house on Sunday, where she met their Irish setter (Molly) and my sister's Irish setter (MacKenzie). All dogs got along just great.

I just heard from my wife a few minutes ago. She works at a technical high school in the St. Louis area. There is a vet clinic on the campus, where Maggie can play and be looked after while my wife and I are at our jobs. The clinic checked her temperature and stool samples, and said she is in perfect health. One of the women even asked if we could give her your information, as she and her husband are looking for a puppy. My wife told her to check out your website.

Scarlett and Dusty are beautiful dogs, and I am sure that Maggie will be just as beautiful when she is full grown. We will send you pictures as she matures.

Thank you again for everything. Some day my wife and I may get a second setter as a companion for Maggie, and we'll definately be in touch!

WE HAVE NAMED OUR BABY  "PAP"  MY HUSBAND NAMED AFTER HIS GRANDFATHER.  HE WAS A FULL OF LIFE INDIVIDUAL, WITH LONG AND LANKY  ARMS AND LEGS.  HE LOVED LIFE TO THE FULLEST.  LARRY WAS HIS GRANDFATHER'S SHADOW, AND  "PAP" IS LARRY'S SHADOW.  HE WENT BACK LAST FRIDAY FOR HIS 3RD ROUND OF SHOTS, AND HE WEIGHED 16.5 POUNDS. WE HAVE HAD HIM THREE WEEKS THIS COMING FRIDAY, AND HE HAS CONSUMED 10 POUNDS OF DOG FOOD.  HE IS GROWING IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS.  WHEN HE FIRST CAME HOME , HE WAS ABOUT AN INCH TALLER THAN OUR DACHSHUND, NOW HE IS A GOOD 4 TO 5 INCHES TALLER THAN OUR "SPARKY".  AS USUAL WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH.  HE IS WONDERFUL, AND I MIGHT ADD HE IS EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT !!

We are doing great, keeping busy.  Sadie is growing and is a whole 15lbs.  She has been wonderful.  We had her housebroken in 2 days-amazing.  Sadie loves to play fetch with her tennis balls and enjoys having playmates with neighborhood dogs.  She has a great personality and loves people, especially kids.  Sadie is sure to put on a smile with whoever she meets.

I thought I’d write and let you know that Wrigley (that’s what we named Silver) was an angel in the car during our trip home.  She never fussed or had any problems, and was very happy as long as she could feel the air conditioning! Her introduction to our chocolate lab also went well and they are good friends already.

Thanks again for working with our schedule this past weekend and for answering all our questions during this whole process.  We are so excited to be owners of an irish setter!  We’ll be sure to email you photos of Wrigley as he grows up...
